  • Yes. You’ll need to get a MHCP from a GP and email it to the admin at OBP. The MHCP must be dated earlier than your appointment with us at OBP to be eligible for your rebate. You are eligible for 10 appointments under Medicare per calendar year. If you have an Eating disorders MHCP from a GP then you’re eligible for up to 40 appointments per calendar year.

  • No. You can see a psychologist without a referral, however you won’t be eligible for rebates.

  • No we don’t see clients solely for the purposes of assessment, as we focus on psychological treatment. No, we do not do court reports.

  • Appointments are at least 50 minutes long and no longer than 1 hour which includes time to rebook future appointments, discussing MHCPs etc.
